Jean Anne Ramey
Founder
Jean Ann Ramey (she/her) is the founder of Climable. She is also a co-founder of the energy and environmental consulting firm Synapse Energy Economics. Her professional experience also includes working as an economist in the Electric Power Division of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and as an analyst at Tellus Institute.
Working with Synapse, Jean Ann kept noticing the same big problem: Synapse would develop rigorous reports packed with vital information, but often, these reports would be too technical and complex for non-experts to digest. Jean Ann realized that for society to make the best use of climate science, that science has to be accessible and comprehensible. With that realization, Climable was born!
